ICSC, Las Vegas
ReCon is the world's largest industry conference. Held annually in Las Vegas, this event attracted 53,000 delegates. Roy was the MC and interviewer. As part of his duties Roy chaired an 'intimate' standing-room only session for about 5,000 people with Jim Carville (Bill Clinton's former political strategist) and Tucker Carlson (a former CNN political anchorman) on the global impact of the next US president. Roy's duties also included hosting a commemoration dinner at the Bellagio Hotel, for a well-loved, former trustee at ICSC.
Roy Sheppard is a specialist conference moderator (as opposed to an MC or link presenter).
So large was this entire event, Roy was escorted by a 'minder' to ensure he
found his way around - and appeared on the correct stage, at the right time!
The City of Lausanne and the International Olympic Committee.
